2nd Annual "WE CARE" Benefit Fundraiser
The semi-formal “We Care” Benefit will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at the 444 Theatre located at 444 Highland Avenue NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30312. The Benefit is the highlight of several events planned throughout 2014 to assist in reaching the organization’s fundraising goal of $100,000 by year-end.
The evening will begin with a Red Carpet VIP/Sponsor Reception with live entertainment at 6:00pm EST, followed by a benefit concert at 8:00pm EST. The event hosted by Emmy nominee Producer and Director Stepp Stewart and co-hosted "Ms Juicy Baby" from the Rickey Smiley Morning Show will include performances by the spectacular D-Maestro Lob, the sultry Phillippia Williams, R&B and hip hop legend Chubb Rock, Soul Train Lady of Soul Award recipient Angie Stone, world re-known musician Melvin M. Miller, and Grammy Award winner T-Pain.
Caregivers 911 is an established non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides assistance to individuals who dedicate their lives to taking care of loved ones that are terminally ill, mentally or physically challenged, are not able to do things on their own, cannot be alone by themselves, or have a life long illness. Whether it’s your mom, your grandfather, your neighbor, or a close friend, when people are sick they need help. Imagine your friend who cannot go to work because she has an autistic child at home and no support. Caregivers 911 partners with agencies such as Heavenly Angels, to provide medically trained and certified nursing assistants to sit with the child while the mom is away.
Funds raised from the “We Care” Benefit will assist with the cost of educational training, awareness seminars, respite care, partnering programs, medical assistance, transportation services, concierge services, operating expenses, and much more. “The mission of Caregivers 911 is to aid, assist, inspire, educate, encourage and motivate individuals responsible for the care of people with life threatening or terminal illnesses, with the goal of bringing relief to alleviate the stress and demands on the responsibilities of the caregiver” says Founder & CEO, Aliyah Najm. “We need your help as a sponsor, attendee, volunteer, or partnering program, to continue to generate a healthier and balanced life of caregivers across the nation.”
